Creamy classic strawberry ice cream with fresh strawberries. This ice cream is so easy to make without using a ice cream maker. It is so simple to make this classic ice cream flavor, all that you need to make it is a mixer and a bowl. It takes less than 10 minutes to put this ice cream together. Fresh mashed strawberries are mixed all through out this ice cream. You can store this ice cream in the freezer to have homemade ice cream on hand any time you want a sweet cold treat this summer.

The ice cream is started with heavy whipping cream that is mixed with a mixer for a few minutes, until stiff peaks form. Prepare the strawberries by removing the stems and mashing them in a bowl. You can leave some of the strawberries into thicker pieces if you like. Once the heavy cream is whipped cream, fold in sweetened condensed milk, mashed strawberries and vanilla extract. Pour the ice cream mixture into a large freezer safe container and freeze for at least 4 hour or until you are ready to serve the ice cream.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 ( 14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 pint fresh strawberries, mashed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Remove stems from strawberries and mash in a medium bowl. In a large bowl using a mixer, beat heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form.
  • Fold in sweetened condensed milk, mashed strawberries and vanilla extract into the whipped cream mixture. Pour ice cream mixture into a freezer safe container and freeze for at least 4 hours.
