Fluffy loaf cake filled with tons of delicious juicy cherry flavor from canned cherry pie filling added to the cake batter. This easy cake is quick and easy to make, it makes the perfect treat to enjoy any time of the year for just about any occasion. Everyone will love the fluffy cake filled with cherries.

The cake batter is quick and easy to make because all of the ingredients are whisked together in one large mixing bowl. A can of cherry pie filling is folded into the cake batter, and then it is spread evenly into a greased loaf pan. Bake until the cake comes out clean with a toothpick. Let cool completely before serving.

Cherry Loaf Cake

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 ( 20 oz.) can cherry pie filling

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, combine butter with sugar until fluffy. Add in the milk, eggs, and vanilla extract and mix until smooth. Add in the flour, salt, and baking powder. Mix until it is fully combined.
  • Fold in the cherry pie filling. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan. Bake for 45-50 minutes.
