Sweet and salty cookie cups with the perfect amount of salty and sweet. The sweet from the chocolate chips and Rolo candy, and the salty from crunchy crushed pretzels. The two flavor combination work perfectly for these cookie cups. The chocolate caramel Rolo candy is stuffed in a chocolate chip and pretzel cookie dough and baked in muffin cups. These are great for any holiday or occasion.

The cookie dough is made like a classic chocolate chip cookie dough with the addition of crushed pretzels. The dough is evenly divided into a paper lined muffin pan. Push a unwrapped Rolo candy into the cookie dough, covering it fully. Bake until the center comes out clean with a toothpick.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup crushed pretzels
  • Rolos

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. Line a 12 cup muffin pan with paper liners. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda. In another large bowl, combine butter, and both sugars. Mix until fluffy.
  • Add in egg and vanilla extract, mix until smooth. Add in the flour mixture and mix until it is fully combined. Fold in the chocolate chips and crushed pretzels.
  • Evenly divide the cookie dough the prepared muffin pan. Place one unwrapped Rolo into each dough, covering it fully. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
