Peppermint bark is a classic to enjoy during the holiday season. It has the classic flavors of Christmas, with two layers of chocolate and white chocolate and crushed candy canes. The chocolate and peppermint flavors are delicious together. And there is no baking required to make these easy Christmas candy. The only cooking needed to make this peppermint bark is melting the chocolate in the microwave. Make this delicious homemade peppermint bark this Christmas for a fun and easy treat.
This homemade peppermint bark only needs three ingredients to make. Just chocolate chips, white chocolate chips and crushed candy canes. Melt the chocolate chips first for the first layer. Pour the chocolate into a baking dish and set in the refrigerator to let the chocolate harden. Then for the second layer, melt the white chocolate chips. Pour the melted chocolate over the first layer. Sprinkle crushed candy canes evenly over the white chocolate layer. Refrigerate until the chocolate has completely set. Break into pieces.

Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz. chocolate chips, melted
  • 12 oz. white chocolate chips, melted
  • 4 tablespoons crushed candy canes

Instructions
 

  • Place chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl, melt in the microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring after each until fully melted and smooth.
  • Pour melted chocolate into a baking dish. Refrigerate for at least 20 minutes. Place white chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl and melt in the microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring after each until fully melted and smooth.
  • Pour melted white chocolate over the chocolate layer and sprinkle with the crushed candy canes. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Cut into pieces.
