Easy sugar cookie truffles make a great holiday gift, using only three ingredients. The only ingredients that you need to make these easy candies, are baked sugar cookies, softened cream cheese and melted candy melts. It is so easy to make these sugar cookie truffles, and they are great to make during to holidays. You can even sprinkle some sprinkles on top to make them more festive. You can store these truffles in an airtight container in the fridge or in the freezer.
You can either make your own sugar cookies, or you can use a premade cookie dough and bake according to the package directions. After the cookies have cooled down completely, crumble the cookies into a large bowl and mix with the softened cream cheese until evenly combined. Roll the cookie mixture into bite sized balls and set onto plates. Refrigerate the cookie truffles for at least 30 minutes before dipping in the chocolate. Melt the candy melts in the microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring after each until fully melted and smooth. After the truffles have chilled, fully coat them into the melted chocolate. Set onto plates and refrigerate for another 30 minutes, or until the chocolate has set.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups crumbled sugar cookies
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 16 oz. white candy melts, melted

Instructions
 

  • Crumble sugar cookies into a large bowl. Mix with softened cream cheese until combined. Roll cookie mixture into balls and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Melt candy melts according to package directions, stirring until fully melted and smooth. Dip each cookie truffle into the melted chocolate and set onto plates.
  • Refrigerate for another 30 minutes, or until the chocolate has set.
