Easter is almost here, which means that the holiday dinner needs to be planned. Ham is always on the menu for Easter, some choose lamb or beef but ham has always been the traditional Easter dinner for my family. I like to cook the ham in the crock-pot because it saves room in the oven for the other side dishes. And it can be prepared in the morning, and be ready to eat for dinner. This ham is sweet with a brown sugar glazed and topped with pineapple slices. This sweet tender ham is the perfect main meal to serve for Easter dinner.

In the morning, the ham is prepared and cooked in the crock-pot, it takes less than 5 minutes to prepare it. I used a 4 pound ham, if you use a smaller or larger one it may need more or less time to cook in the crock-pot. Evenly sprinkle brown sugar over the top of the ham. Pour in canned pineapple juice over the ham and top with the canned pineapple slices. Cover and let it cook on low heat for 8 hours, or on high heat for 4-5 hours. The ham should be tender and can easily be sliced when it is fully cooked.
