Tender, juicy, and delicious roast beef made in the crock-pot with five simple ingredients. Barbecue sauce and a can of root beer cook with the roast, resulting in a delicious dinner that you can serve on hamburger buns for a pulled beef sandwich. Or you can serve the roast with your favorite roasted vegetables. It takes less than 10 minutes to put this meal together, everything goes right into the crock-pot together and cooked slowly until the roast can easily be pulled apart with two forks.

The only five ingredients that you need to make this meal, is a chuck roast, salt, pepper, barbecue sauce, and a can of root beer. Place the roast into a crock-pot and season with salt and pepper. Add on the barbecue sauce, and pour the root beer on top. Cover and let cook until the roast is tender and juicy.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 2-3 pound chuck roast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 ( 15 oz.) bottle barbecue sauce
  • 1 ( 12 oz.) can root beer

Instructions
 

  • Place roast into a large greased crock-pot. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Pour on barbecue sauce and root beer. Cover and let cook on low heat for 8 hours.
