I love side dishes that take very little prep work and can be ready in less than 15 minutes. These flavorful parmesan peas are just that. They take the same amount of time as to heat up some frozen peas, but with the addition of Italian seasoning and grated parmesan cheese, it makes them so much better. These peas are cheesy and take less than 10 minutes to get on the table. These cheesy vegetables make a great addition to any main meal. Because these peas have a Italian taste with the Italian seasoning, I like to serve them with a more Italian meal like pasta.

The frozen peas get defrosted in a medium saucepan with olive oil. They only need to cook in the oil for about 5 minutes for them to heat through. After the peas have defrosted and are tender, season them with the Italian seasoning and the grated parmesan cheese. Mix it all together and let it heat through for another minute. Remove the peas from the heat and serve them. These peas are a delicious way to eat your vegetables.
