Edible Red Velvet Cookie Dough

Easy and delicious homemade edible cookie dough, it is made without using any eggs, and the flour is heated in the microwave to make this cookie dough edible. The cookie dough is made red velvet flavored with some cocoa powder and coloring the cookie dough red. You can either serve it as is, or you can roll the dough into balls to make truffles.

To make the cookie dough, the flour and cocoa powder are first placed into a microwave-safe bowl, and heated in the microwave for about 40 seconds. Mix the flour mixture along with the remaining ingredients. Add in red food coloring to make the cookie dough red. Serve right away, or store in the fridge until serving.

Edible Red Velvet Cookie Dough

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tablespoons milk
  • red food coloring

Instructions
 

  • Place the flour and cocoa powder in a microwave-safe bowl, and heat in the microwave for about 40 seconds.
  • In a large bowl, combine butter with sugar until fluffy. Add in vanilla extract and milk and mix until smooth. Add in the flour mixture, mix until it is fully combined. Add in the red food coloring, and mix until it is fully red.
