Easter M&M Buttercream Truffles

Easy creamy buttercream truffles filled with Easter themed M&Ms and chocolate chips. All covered in melted chocolate chips. They will make the perfect treat to enjoy this spring. Everyone will love these easy no-bake candies for a sweet and delicious treat this year.

The buttercream mixture is made by mixing butter with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until it forms a thick dough. Fold in the M&Ms and chocolate chips, then roll the mixture into balls and set onto a plate. Freeze the truffles while you melt the chocolate chips. Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave until it is fully melted and smooth. Fully coat each truffle in the mixture and set onto a plate. Let sit until it is completely set.

Easter M&M Buttercream Truffles

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2-3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Easter M&Ms
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 12 oz. chocolate chips, melted

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, mix butter with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until it is fully combined. Fold in the M&Ms and chocolate chips. Roll the mixture into balls and place onto a large plate.
  • Freeze for at least 20 minutes. Place the chocolate chips into a microwave-safe bowl, and heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well until it is fully melted and smooth.
  • Fully coat each truffle in the melted chocolate and set onto a plate. Let sit until it is completely set.
