Crock-Pot Italian Beef Sandwiches

Easy crock-pot roast beef sandwiches with pepperoncini and Italian salad dressing mix. All topped with provolone cheese. It makes a delicious sandwich that is so easy to prepare. Just add all of the ingredients into the crock-pot in the morning and let it cook all day.Then by dinner time, you have a delicious juicy filling for sandwiches. Serve the shredded meat in hoagie rolls topped with provolone cheese.

The filling for these sandwiches only uses five ingredients that all cook together in a large crock-pot. Chuck roast is added to a crock-pot along with sliced pepperoncini, beef broth, a packet of Italian salad dressing mix and dried oregano. Once the meat is done, you should easily be able to shred it with two forks. Serve in hoagie rolls along with a slice of provolone cheese.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 2-3 pound chuck roast
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoncini
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 packet Italian salad dressing mix
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • provolone cheese
  • hoagie rolls

Instructions
 

  • Place roast in a large greased crock-pot. Add pepperoncini and beef broth. Season with italian salad dressing mix and dried oregano.
  • Cover and let cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high heat for 4-5 hours. Shred meat and serve on hoagie rolls with provolone cheese.
