Crispy Breaded Pepper Jack Chicken

Easy cheesy baked chicken, coated in a crispy breadcrumb coating, and topped with shredded pepper jack cheese. Everyone will love this easy and cheesy and slightly spicy baked chicken for just about any meal. Serve with your favorite side dishes.

The chicken is first breaded in a mixture of egg and milk, and fully coated in breadcrumbs. Then the chicken is baked in the oven until the chicken is fully cooked through and the breading is crispy. Top with cheese and bake for just a couple more minutes, until the cheese is melted.

Crispy Breaded Pepper Jack Chicken

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound chicken
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup shredded pepper jack cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a shallow dish, whisk egg and milk together. Place the breadcrumbs in another dish. Dip each chicken in the egg mixture, then fully coat in the breadcrumbs.
  • Place the chicken onto a large greased baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Remove from the oven, and top with cheese. Bake for another 3-5 minutes.
