Cinnamon Raisin Snowball Cookies

Easy sweet and buttery homemade snowball cookies filled with tons of delicious cinnamon flavors and raisins mixed into the cookie dough. They are covered in powdered sugar after they are baked, making them look like snowballs. Everyone will love these easy cinnamon raisin snowball cookies for just about any holiday or occasion.

The cookie dough is made by mixing the butter with powdered sugar, vanilla extract, flour and cinnamon until it is fully combined. Fold raisins into the cookie dough. Roll the cookie dough into balls, and place them onto a large baking sheet. Bake until the bottoms of the cookies are lightly browned. Roll the cookies into the remaining powdered sugar.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, combine butter with powdered sugar until fluffy. Add in vanilla extract, and mix until smooth. Add in the flour and cinnamon, mix until it is fully combined.
  • Fold in the raisins. Roll the cookie dough into balls, and place them onto a large ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Place the remaining powdered sugar into a shallow dish. Roll the cookies into the powdered sugar.
