Cheetos Crusted Mac and Cheese

Creamy and cheesy mac and cheese baked topped with more cheese and topped off with crushed cheetos. The cheetos crust gives this easy mac and cheese a delicious cheesy crispy topping. Everyone will love this easy creamy mac and cheese for any meal and any occasion.

The cheese sauce is made by melting butter in a large saucepan. Cook the flour, and mix until it is lightly browned. Add in the milk, 2 cups of the cheese, and the seasonings. Cook the sauce until the cheese has fully melted and the sauce has thickened. Mix the cheese sauce with the cooked pasta. Spread the mixture into a greased baking dish. Top with the remaining cheese, and crushed Cheetos. Bake until the cheese has melted, and the cheetos are lightly browned.

Cheetos Crusted Mac and Cheese

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups elbow pasta
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 cup crushed cheetos

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain and place into a large bowl. Melt the butter into a large saucepan over medium heat. Cook the flour, and mix until lightly browned.
  • Pour in the milk, 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix until the cheese has fully melted and the sauce has thickened.
  • Mix the sauce with the pasta. Spread the mac and cheese into a greased baking dish. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese and crushed cheetos. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
