I love making popcorn balls during the holiday season. But to make these popcorn balls even more festive for Halloween, I added candy corn to them. They have the same gooey and chewy taste as the classic popcorn balls, but the addition of candy corn to them makes them a fun Halloween treat. Make these fun treats as quick no-bake dessert for your Halloween parties.

These popcorn balls are started similar to making rice krispie treats with melting marshmallows in a large saucepan. I used mini marshmallows because they are easier to melt, but any marshmallows will work. After the marshmallows are fully melted, sir in the vanilla extract and remove it from the heat. Fold in the popped popcorn and candy corn with a greased spatula so that it does not stick to it. Because they can be messy, to shape the popcorn mixture into balls I like to lightly grease my hands with cooking spray so that the popcorn does not stick to it. After the mixture is formed into balls, let them sit at room temperature until they are fully set.
