Cheesy taco casserole with buttery biscuits. This quick and easy casserole makes a delicious dinner for any day of the week. Only six ingredients are needed to make this meal, and it is ready on the table in less than 45 minutes. The whole family will love this easy taco bake topped with fluffy biscuits. Serve with your favorite vegetables or a side of chips and salsa for an easy family friendly dinner.
The only ingredients that you need to make this meal, is ground beef, taco seasoning, salsa, water, biscuits and cheddar cheese. First brown the ground beef in a large skillet, breaking it up with a spatula as it cooks until it is no longer pink. Drain the grease and add taco seasoning, salsa and water to the meat. Let the mixture cook for a couple more minutes until everything is heated through. Cut biscuits into quarters and mix with beef mixture in a large greased baking dish. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and bake until the biscuits are cooked through and the cheese has melted.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 can biscuits
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 F. Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat, drain grease and mix with taco seasoning, salsa and water. Continue to cook over medium heat for another 5 minutes to heat through.
  • Separate biscuit dough and cut each into fourths. Spread the dough out into a large greased baking dish. Mix with the taco meat mixture. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
