Air-Fryer Pretzel Dogs

Sharing is caring!

Classic pretzel dogs made homemade and cooked in the air-fryer. Cooking these pretzel dogs in the air-fryer makes them much more crispy and delicious. You can make these pretzel dogs for any occasion, such as for a game day, appetizer or a fun family friendly dinner. For vegetarian pretzel dogs, you can replace the hot dogs with veggie dogs instead. Serve with mustard, ketchup, or any other dipping sauce.

The dough for the pretzels is made with a classic yeast dough. It will need to rise once before cooking. Once the dough has risen, deflate the dough and divide into pieces. Wrap each piece of dough around each hot dog. Boil the hot dogs in a mixture of boiling water and baking soda for about 20 seconds. Remove from the water and air-fry for in batches until golden browned.
