Warm and cheesy garlic bread rolls stuffed with mozzarella cheese and topped with a buttery garlic butter. And shaped into the shape of a Christmas tree, this cheesy bread makes a fun and festive holiday appetizer. These easy pull apart bread rolls are stuffed with cheese in the center of each warm bread roll. And sprinkled with dried parsley to give them a green Christmas tree color. Serve these fun rolls as a side dish to go along with soup or stew.
The bread rolls are made with a homemade yeast dough, but you can also use a premade pizza dough for this instead to save on time. The pizza dough is divided into 20 equal sized pieces. Mozzarella cheese is cubed into 1-inch cubes and each piece of dough is wrapped around each piece of cubed cheese. Make sure to seal the edges of each roll so the cheese does not spill out. Place the rolls onto a large greased baking sheet in a Christmas tree pattern. Brush the rolls with a mixture of melted butter, salt and garlic powder. Sprinkle dried parsley all around the bread and bake until golden browned.
