Peppermint Oreo Balls

Oreo balls are a classic no-bake treat to enjoy during the holidays. Instead of classic Oreo balls covered in chocolate, these Oreo balls are given a Christmas theme with crushed candy canes mixed throughout the Oreo balls. It is also covered with white chocolate, and topped with crushed candy canes. These are perfect for making during the holidays, or to give as gifts to friends and family.

The only four ingredients that you need to make these Oreo balls are, a package of Oreo cookies that are crushed. cream cheese, crushed candy canes, and a package of white chocolate chips. The crushed Oreo cookies are mixed with the softened cream cheese, and crushed candy canes, and formed into bite-sized balls. Refrigerate the Oreo balls for at least 20 minutes before dipping in chocolate. Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each until fully melted and smooth. Using a fork, fully coat each Oreo ball into the melted chocolate, and set them back onto plates. Top with more crushed candy canes, and let the chocolate set completely before serving.

  • 1 package Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup crushed candy canes
  • 12 oz. white chocolate chips
  • crushed candy canes, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, combine crushed Oreo cookies with softened cream cheese, and crushed candy canes.
  • Form the mixture into bite-sized balls, and place onto plates. Refrigerate for at least 20 minutes.
  • Place the chocolate chips into a microwave-safe bowl, and heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until fully melted and smooth.
  • Fully coat each Oreo ball into the melted chocolate, and set onto plates. Top with more crushed candy canes. Refrigerate until the chocolate has completely set.
