White Chocolate Chip Red Velvet Shortbread Cookies

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • red food coloring
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, combine butter with powdered sugar until fluffy. Add in flour, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract until combined.
  2. Add in red food coloring, and mix until it is fully red. Fold in white chocolate chips. Roll the cookie dough into balls, and flatten slightly.
  3. Place cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
