Snickerdoodle Brookie Cups

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F. Line a 12 cup muffin pan with paper liners. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, salt, baking soda, and cream of tartar.
  2. Add in the eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract, whisk until smooth. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, baking soda, and cream of tartar. In a large bowl, combine butter with sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add in egg and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth. Add in the flour mixture until it is fully combined. In a small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Evenly divide the brownie batter between the paper liners. Evenly top with the cookie dough. Sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar mixture. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
