Homemade Andes Mints

Ingredients
  

  • 2 ( 12 oz.) bags chocolate chips
  • 1 ( 12 oz.) bag white chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • green food coloring

Instructions
 

  • Place one bag of chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl. Heat in the microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring after each until fully melted and smooth.
  • Pour the chocolate into a 8-inch baking dish. Refrigerate until the chocolate has set. Place the white chocolate chips in another microwave safe bowl.
  • Heat in the microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring after each until fully melted and smooth. Stir in peppermint extract and green food coloring. Mix until fully green.
  • Pour over the chocolate layer. Refrigerate until the chocolate has set. Place the remaining bag of chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl.
  • Heat in the microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring after each until fully melted and smooth. Pour over the green chocolate layer. Refrigerate until fully set. Cut into squares.
