In a large bowl using either a hand or stand mixer, beat butter with both granulated sugar and brown sugar until fluffy.
Add in milk and vanilla extract, beat until smooth. Add in flour and salt, beat until the mixture is fully combined. Fold in chocolate chips with a spatula. Roll the cookie dough into small oval football shapes and place onto plates.
Refrigerate the cookie dough bites for at least 30 minutes. Melt the chocolate candy coating in the microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring in between each one until fully melted.
Dip each cookie dough bite into the melted chocolate and place back onto plates. Refrigerate for another 30 minutes, until the chocolate has set.
Melt the white chocolate candy coating in a microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring in between each one until fully smooth and melted.
Place the melted white chocolate into a piping bag. Pipe the chocolate onto the cookie dough bites to resemble football laces. Refrigerate until set. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
