freshlyhomecooked

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 ( 12 oz.) bag chocolate chips
  • 10 oz. chocolate candy coating
  • 2 oz. white chocolate candy coating

Instructions

  • In a large bowl using either a hand or stand mixer, beat butter with both granulated sugar and brown sugar until fluffy.
  • Add in milk and vanilla extract, beat until smooth. Add in flour and salt, beat until the mixture is fully combined. Fold in chocolate chips with a spatula. Roll the cookie dough into small oval football shapes and place onto plates.
  • Refrigerate the cookie dough bites for at least 30 minutes. Melt the chocolate candy coating in the microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring in between each one until fully melted.
  • Dip each cookie dough bite into the melted chocolate and place back onto plates. Refrigerate for another 30 minutes, until the chocolate has set.
  • Melt the white chocolate candy coating in a microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring in between each one until fully smooth and melted.
  • Place the melted white chocolate into a piping bag. Pipe the chocolate onto the cookie dough bites to resemble football laces. Refrigerate until set. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
