Heat flour in the microwave for 30 seconds. In a large bowl, beat softened butter with sugar until fluffy. Beat in milk and vanilla extract until smooth. Add the flour in and beat until all of the flour is incorporated.
Fold in chocolate chips. Shape cookie dough into egg shapes. Place onto a plate, refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Melt candy melts in the microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring after each until fully melted and smooth.
Add in food coloring. Dip each chilled cookie dough truffle into chocolate, set back onto plates. Let chocolate set.
