Taco night turned into a cheesy crescent roll casserole makes the perfect easy meal for a quick dinner. Spicy taco seasoned beef is cooked in a crescent roll crust all topped with cheese. Together it makes a delicious meal that can be ready in 45 minutes. Serve this meal with what you would usually serve with tacos, I like serve this casserole with rice or chips and guacamole.

The ground beef needs to be cooked first before baking. Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat, breaking it up with a spatula as it cooks until the meat is no longer pink. Drain the grease and return the beef to the skillet. Mix taco seasoning and salsa into the beef and let it cook for a couple more minutes to heat through and thicken. While that cooks, press the can of crescent roll dough into a 9-inch pie dish, pressing the seams to seal. Place the ground beef mixture into the crescent rolls and top the beef with cheese. Bake until the cheese has melted and the crescent roll dough is cooked and lightly browned.
