Today is St. Patricks day! Which means green food and desserts. For this quick and easy St. Patricks day themed white chocolate popcorn, you only need about 10 minutes to make it. Popcorn with white chocolate candy coating that has been dyed green for St. Patricks day. Along with some chocolate M&Ms and green sprinkles or colored sugar tossed into the popcorn. This a great no-bake St.Patricks day themed dessert that is quick to make and delicious.
You can either pop the popcorn yourself, or you can use microwave or prepopped popcorn for this. Place the popcorn into a large baking dish. Melt a package of white candy coating according to the package directions until it is fully melted. Stir green food coloring into the chocolate and pour it evenly over the popcorn. Mix to fully coat the popcorn. Stir in m&ms and sprinkles and let the popcorn mixture sit until the chocolate has hardened. Once the popcorn has hardened, break it into pieces and store in a large bowl at room temperature.
St. Patricks Day White Chocolate Popcorn
Ingredients
- 6 cups popped popcorn
- 1 ( 10 oz.) white candy coating
- green food coloring
- 1 cup m&ms
- green sprinkles
Instructions
- Place popped popcorn into a large baking dish. Melt white candy coating in a microwaveable bowl according to package directions, stirring until fully melted.
- Mix green food coloring with the melted candy coating until fully green. Pour chocolate mixture over popcorn, coating the popcorn completely.
- Stir in m&ms and green sprinkles. Let sit until hardened.
