St. Patrick’s Day Cream Cheese Cookies

Soft and chewy cookies for St. Patrick’s day made with cream cheese. These easy cookies are so soft and delicious. It has a sweet buttery taste along with mint flavors. Everyone will love these soft and chewy cookies this St. Patrick’s day this year.

The cookie dough is made with cream cheese added along with the butter and sugar. Mint extract is also used instead of vanilla extract. After the dough is prepared, add in green food coloring, and mix until it is fully green. Use a cookie scoop to place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through.

St. Patrick's Day Cream Cheese Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 4 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon mint extract
  • green food coloring

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking powder. In a large bowl, combine butter with cream cheese and sugar until fluffy.
  • Add in egg and mint extract, and mix until smooth. Add in the flour mixture, mix until it is fully combined. Add in the green food coloring, and mix until it is fully green.
  • Use a cookie scoop to place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
