Peanut butter balls are the perfect classic no-bake treat to make the holidays. Peanut butter balls are perfect for any holiday, even Halloween. These homemade peanut butter balls are covered with chocolate and decorated with candy eyes and pretzel sticks to look like spiders. They are so much fun to make, and no baking is required. Make these peanut butter balls for a fun family-friendly treat.

The peanut butter dough is so easy to make, you only need three simple ingredients. Softened butter is mixed with peanut butter and powdered sugar until a thick dough forms. Roll dough into bite-sized balls and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, melt the chocolate chips in the microwave until fully melted and smooth. Dip each peanut butter ball into the melted chocolate, coating it fully. Set back onto plates decorate with the candy eyes and pretzel sticks. Let the chocolate set completely before serving.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 12 oz. chocolate chips
  • pretzel sticks
  • candy eyes

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl with a mixer, beat softened butter with peanut butter until fluffy. Add in the powdered sugar, and beat until a thick dough forms. Roll dough into balls and set onto plates. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Place chocolate chips into a microwave-safe bowl. Melt in the microwave in 30- second intervals, stirring until melted and smooth. Dip each peanut butter ball into the melted chocolate. Set back onto plates.
  • Place two candy eyes on each ball, place pretzel sticks on the sides. Let chocolate set.
