Philly Cheese Steak Sandwiches

Sharing is caring!

Tender and juicy steak with onion and green pepper, served in a sub bun and topped with provolone cheese. These Philly cheesesteak sandwiches are a delicious and easy meal that you can have ready on the table in less than 30 minutes. Everything is cooked in one skillet, and it takes no time at all to prepare these sandwiches. I topped these sandwiches with sliced provolone cheese, but you can substitute your favorite cheese for these Philly cheesesteak sandwiches.

For the steak, you can use any cut of steak, such as beef sirloin, or you can get it pre-sliced to save on time. Cook the steak in a large skillet along with the seasonings over medium heat, until the steak is lightly browned and no longer pink in the center. Remove the steak from the skillet, and heat more olive oil in the skillet. Cook peppers and onion until the vegetables are softened. Add the meat back into the skillet and let heat through. Serve in hoagie rolls and top with cheese.
