Slow-Cooker Baked Potatoes

Tender and delicious baked potatoes make the perfect side dish to go along with any meal. But they are even easier to make by cooking them slow in the crock-pot. All you have to do is place the potatoes in the crock-pot in the morning and they are ready to eat by dinner. There are many ways that you can serve these potatoes. You can make them as a side dish served topped with butter or sour cream. Or you can make a meal out the potatoes by adding some ground meat on top or broccoli and cheese. There are many ways to eat these potatoes.
You only need russet potatoes, olive oil, and salt to season the potatoes. Just poke a couple of holes in each potatoe with a fork. Then rub them with olive oil and place them into a crock-pot. Let cook on low heat for 6-8 hours, or on high heat for 3-4 hours. When the potatoes are done, they should be fork tender. Serve with butter or sour cream and cheese, just as you would a classic baked potato.

  • russet potatoes
  • olive oil
  • salt, to season

Instructions
 

  • Wash potatoes and poke holes in them with a fork. Rub olive oil over potatoes and place into a large crock-pot.
  • Cover and let cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours. Season with salt.
