Ritz Cracker Taco Bites

Quick and easy tex-mex appetizer that uses only 5 simple ingredients and takes only a few minutes to make. Cheesy and delicious it is so quick and easy to make this simple appetizer. Buttery Ritz crackers are topped with spicy refried beans and cheese. All topped off with a pickled jalapeno. These make a great quick snack or appetizer to go along with any tex-mex meal. 

The spicy refried beans are made by combining canned refried beans with salsa. The mixture is spread evenly over buttery Ritz crackers. They are topped with shredded cheddar cheese and one pickled jalapeno on each cracker. Bake for just a couple of minutes, just until the cheese has melted.

Ingredients
  

  • Ritz crackers
  • 1 ( 15 oz.) can refried beans
  • 1/4 cup salsa
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • pickled jalapenos

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 F. Place Ritz crackers onto a greased baking sheet in a single layer. Place refried beans in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat until the refried beans are smooth. Stir in salsa.
  • Evenly top the refried beans over each cracker. Top with cheese, and place one pickled jalapeno on each cracker. Bake for 4-5 minutes.
