The only five ingredients that you need is butter, peanut butter, powdered sugar, rice krispy cereal, and a bag of chocolate chips. The peanut butter is mixed with the butter and powdered sugar until a thick dough forms. Fold the rice krispy cereal into the mixture and roll them into balls. Place them onto a large plate, and freeze while you melt the chocolate. Melt the chocolate in the microwave until it is fully melted and smooth. Fully coat each peanut butter ball into the melted chocolate, and set onto a large plate. Let them sit until the chocolate is completely set.
Rice Krispy Peanut Butter Balls
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 2-3 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup rice krispy cereal
- 12 oz. chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix butter and peanut butter until smooth. Add in the powdered sugar until a thick dough forms. Fold in the rice krispy cereal.
- Roll the peanut butter mixture into balls, and place them onto a large plate. Freeze for at least 20 minutes. Place the chocolate chips into a microwave-safe bowl, and heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well until it is fully melted and smooth.
- Fully coat each peanut butter ball into the melted chocolate and set back onto plates. Let sit until the chocolate has completely set.
