Red Velvet White Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Truffles

Easy and delicious red velvet cookie dough truffles filled with tons of white chocolate chips, and covered in melted white chocolate. These easy candies make the perfect dessert to make for Valentine’s day, Christmas or any other occasion that you want to enjoy these cookie dough truffles.

The cookie dough is first made by heating the flour and cocoa powder together in the microwave for about 40 seconds. Mix the mixture with butter, sugar, vanilla extract, and milk until a thick dough forms. Add in the red food coloring, and mix until it is fully red. Fold in the white chocolate chips. Roll the cookie dough into balls, and place them onto a plate, refrigerate while you melt the chocolate. Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave until it is fully melted and smooth. Fully coat each red velvet truffle into the melted chocolate. Set onto plates, and let sit until the chocolate has completely set.

Red Velvet White Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Truffles

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tablespoon milk
  • red food coloring
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 12 oz. white chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Place the flour and cocoa powder in a microwave-safe bowl, and heat in the microwave for about 40-seconds. In a large bowl, combine butter with sugar until fluffy. Add in vanilla extract and milk, mix until smooth.
  • Add in the flour mixture, mix until it is fully combined. Add in the red food coloring, mix until it is fully red. Fold in the white chocolate chips. Roll the cookie dough into balls, and place them onto a plate. Refrigerate for at least 20 minutes.
  • Place the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, and heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well until it is fully melted and smooth. Use a fork to fully coat each truffle into the melted chocolate. Set onto plates, and let sit until the chocolate has completely set.
