The brownie batter is easy to make, all of the ingredients are whisked together in a large bowl. Red food coloring is added to the batter until it is fully red. Evenly pour half of the brownie batter between 12 lined muffin cups. Place one Oreo cookie in each cup, and cover with more brownie batter. Bake until the center comes out clean in each brownie cup.
Red Velvet Oreo Brownie Cups
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- red food coloring
- 12 Oreo cookies
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. Line a 12 cup muffin pan with paper liners. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, salt, and baking soda. Add in eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
- Add in the red food coloring and mix until it is fully red. Evenly divide half of the brownie batter into each lined muffin cup. Place one Oreo cookie into each muffin pan and cover with the remaining brownie batter. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
