You only need five simple ingredients to make these easy pigs in a blanket. Just a can of crescent rolls, a package of little smokies, or sliced hot dogs, pepperoni slices, and some shredded mozzarella cheese. Separate each crescent triangle into three, and place one little smokie on each triangle, along with a slice of pepperoni, and some mozzarella cheese. Roll up tightly into a crescent. Place onto a large greased baking sheet. Bake until the crust is lightly golden browned.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can crescent rolls
  • 1 package little smokies
  • pepperoni slices
  • shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. Unroll the crescent roll dough, and separate into triangles. Cut each triangle into thirds.
  • Place one pepperoni slice, followed by one little smokie, and some shredded mozzarella cheese onto each triangle. Roll up tightly, and place onto a greased baking sheet.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes.

I’ve made these before but used turkey Italian sausages from the store and my own bread recipe, added basil, oregano, and diced garlic to the dough then marinara for the sauce. A weiner at my house!
