Quick and easy peanut butter hearts covered in melted chocolate. These easy peanut butter and chocolate hearts taste just like a classic Reese’s peanut butter heart candy. You just need four simple ingredients for this easy and delicious candy. It makes the perfect no bake dessert to make this Valentine’s day that everyone will love.

The only four ingredients that you need is butter, peanut butter, powdered sugar, and a bag of chocolate chips. The butter is mixed with the peanut butter and powdered sugar until a thick dough forms. Roll the peanut butter dough out into a rectangle on either parchment paper or foil. Cut out hearts in the dough using a mini heart shaped cookie cutter. Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave until it is fully melted and smooth. Use a fork to fully coat each peanut butter heart into the melted chocolate, set them onto a plate, and refrigerate until the chocolate has completely set.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 12 oz. chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, combine butter with peanut butter until smooth. Add in the powdered sugar and mix until it is fully combined.
  • Roll the peanut butter dough out onto a piece of parchment paper or foil. Cut out hearts using a mini heart shaped cookie cutter. Set them onto plates.
  • Place the chocolate chips into a microwave-safe bowl, and heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well until it is fully melted and smooth.
  • Use a fork to fully coat each peanut butter heart into the melted chocolate. Set onto plates, and let sit until the chocolate has completely set.
