Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Soft and chewy peanut butter cookies filled with chocolate chips. These cookies combines two of the most classic cookie flavors, a peanut butter cookie and a chocolate chip cookie. And makes them into one delicious cookie that has the best of both flavors. The peanut butter and chocolate flavors go perfectly together. They are perfect for just about any occasion.

The cookie dough is made like a classic peanut butter cookie dough, with the addition of chocolate chips folded into the cookie dough. The cookies are placed onto a large ungreased baking sheet and bake until they come out clean in the center. Let the cookies cool completely on a cooling rack before serving.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, combine butter with peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
  • Add in egg and vanilla extract and mix until smooth. Add in the flour mixture until fully combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Roll the cookie dough into balls, and place onto a large ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
