Easy cheesy creamy mac and cheese made in one pot. There is no need to pre boil the pasta because it cooks right in the milk. There is no need to create a sauce for the pasta, the pasta boils in milk and is mixed with butter and cheddar cheese. It is so creamy and cheesy, and so much easier and quicker than making a sauce for the pasta. This cheesy pasta is ready in less than 20 minutes for a quick and easy side dish that everyone will love.

There is no need to pre boil the pasta, it will boil in the milk. Once the pasta is tender and most of the milk as absorbed, stir in butter, shredded cheddar cheese, salt and pepper to taste. It is so quick and easy to make, and it saves time on dishes by using only one pot to cook everything. If you would like a gluten-free mac and cheese, you can easily make this dish gluten-free by using a gluten-free brand pasta instead of regular pasta.

One-Pot Mac and Cheese

Ingredients
  

  • 16 oz. elbow pasta
  • 4 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • salt and pepper, to season

Instructions
 

  • Place milk and uncooked pasta into a large saucepan over medium heat, bring to a simmer and cook for 8-10 minutes until the pasta is tender.
  • Stir in butter, shredded cheddar cheese, salt and pepper until the cheese and butter are fully melted and smooth.
