Sharing is caring!

Soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies filled with chopped up Maraschino cherries. These cookies are filled with tons of cherry flavor from the juicy Maraschino cherries, and cherry juice. The chocolate chip flavor goes perfectly with the flavor of the cherries. Everyone will love these sweet cookies for a fun Valentine’s day themed treat or for any occasion.

The cookie dough is made similar to a classic chocolate chip cookie dough, except that instead of vanilla extract, cherry juice is used instead. Chopped up Maraschino cherries are also folded into the cookie dough. Roll the dough into balls, and place them onto a large ungreased baking sheet. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through.
