Leftover Candy Oatmeal Cookies

Soft and chewy classic oatmeal cookies filled with chopped up leftover candy bars. These easy chewy oatmeal cookies make the perfect easy treat to bake for when you want to use up some leftover Halloween or Christmas candy. Everyone will love the delicious oatmeal and chocolate flavors in these easy cookies.

The cookie dough is similar to a classic oatmeal cookie dough, except for the addition of chopped up leftover candy bars folded into the cookie dough. Roll the cookie dough into balls, and place them onto a large ungreased baking sheet. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through.

Leftover Candy Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup quick oats
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped candy bars

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, oats, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, combine butter with sugar until fluffy. Add in the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth.
  • Add in the flour mixture, mix until it is fully combined. Fold in the chopped candy bars. Roll the cookie dough into balls, and place them onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
