This ice cream is smooth and creamy with the perfect amount of chocolate flavor. With this homemade chocolate ice cream, you don’t even need an ice cream churner. All you need to make this ice cream is a mixing bowl and a mixer. It takes less than 10 minutes to prepare the ice cream. Then it freezes in the freezer for up to a month. This creamy chocolate ice cream tastes just like the classic ice cream that you remember.

Heavy whipping cream starts as the base for this ice cream. It needs to be whipped with a mixer until stiff peaks start to form, it should resemble like whipped cream. Using a spatula, fold the sweetened condensed milk along with the cocoa powder and vanilla extract. Once the ice cream mixture is smooth and creamy, pour it into a large freezer safe container. Cover and freeze the ice cream for at least four hours, or for up to one month.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 ( 14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Beat heavy whipping cream in a large bowl using either a hand or stand mixer. Beat until stiff peaks form.
  • Fold in sweetened condensed milk, cocoa powder and vanilla extract. Pour the ice cream mixture into a freezer safe container. Freeze for at least 4 hours.
