Chocolate fudge brownies are so easy and simple to make, you don’t even need a mixer. I like fudge style brownies as oppose to more cake style brownies. These brownies are definitely fudgy with tons of chocolate flavor. Both cocoa powder and chocolate chips are used in these brownies. Half of the chocolate chips are melted and the other half are folded into the batter. These rich fudgy brownies are the perfect dessert for any occasion.

The dry ingredients, flour, sugar, cocoa powder, salt and baking powder are mixed into a large bowl with whisk. You can sift the cocoa powder into the mixture with a sifter to remove any large lumps, or you can just whisk it well with a whisk. 3/4 cup of the chocolate chips are melted in the microwave until smooth. Whisk the melted butter, melted chocolate, eggs and vanilla extract into the dry ingredients until smooth. Using a spatula, gently fold the remaining chocolate chips into the batter. Evenly spread the brownie batter into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Bake until the brownies are cooked through and the edges are slightly crispy.
