Easy taco dip that is perfect for Memorial day, or the Fourth of July. The taco dip is layered with refried beans, guacamole, and cheese. It is then decorated into the pattern of a flag. You can make this dip as an appetizer or the serve along side tacos. Serve with your favorite tortilla chips.
The guacamole is made by mashing avocados with lime juice, onion, cilantro, and tomato until smooth. Spread a layer of refried beans over the bottom of a greased baking dish. Top with a layer of the guacamole and shredded cheese. Arrange the cherry tomatoes and sliced olives into the pattern of a flag.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ( 15 oz.) can refried beans
  • 2 large avocados, peeled
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1 teaspoon cilantro
  • 1/2 cup diced tomato
  • 1 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives
  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved

Instructions
 

  • In a medium bowl, mash avocados with lime juice, onion, cilantro, and diced tomato. In a baking dish, layer refried beans and guacamole. Top with cheese.
  • Place olives in the top corner. Layer the cherry tomatoes in lines over dip. Serve with chips.
