Everyone loves to eat cookie dough, but with this cookie dough, it is completely edible. There are no eggs in this no-bake cookie dough, making it safe to eat. This cookie dough is creamy and delicious with tons of peanut butter flavor throughout the cookie dough. You can serve this cookie dough in ice cream cones or in a bowl. It is the perfect easy treat to make that does not involve using the oven.

This edible peanut butter cookie dough is made similar to a classic cookie dough that you would bake. Except that there are no eggs in this dough, and the flour is heated in the microwave to make it safer to eat. Heat the flour in the microwave for about 30 seconds. Beat the softened butter with peanut butter and granulated sugar together with a mixer until it is creamy. Add in milk and vanilla extract, beating again until smooth. Add flour in and beat until all of the flour is incorporated into the dough. Refrigerate the dough until you are ready to serve it.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Place flour in a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 30-40 seconds. In a large bowl with wither a hand or stand mixer, beat softened butter with peanut butter and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  • Add in milk and vanilla extract, beating until smooth. Beat in flour, mixing until all of the flour is incorporated. Cover and refrigerate until serving.
