Easy crock-pot meals that can be put together in less than 10 minutes are the perfect meals for busy nights. This crock-pot sausage and peppers is so quick and easy to prepare. All of the ingredients get tossed together in a large crock-pot and they slow cook all day. There are many ways that you can serve this meal, such as over rice or pasta. Or you can even make this meal into a sandwich by serving the sausage and peppers over hot dog buns or sub buns topped with provolone cheese.

Sliced sausage links, red and green bell peppers along with sliced onion are added into a large greased crock-pot. A can of crushed tomatoes is poured over the ingredients and seasoned with oregano, parsley and basil. Cover and let the crock-pot cook on low for 8 hours, or on high for 4-5 hours. Serve over pasta or rice for a easy and delicious dinner.

Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz. sausage links, sliced in 1-inch slices
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1 ( 28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil

Instructions
 

  • Place all of the ingredients into a large greased crock-pot. Cover and let cook on low for 8 hours, or on high for 4-5 hours. Serve over rice or pasta.
