Ingredients
- 1 pound chicken
- 1 pound carrots, peeled and sliced
- 1 large onion, diced
- 2 large stalks celery, diced
- 2 large potatoes, cubed
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 4 cups chicken broth
Instructions
- Place all of the ingredients into a large greased crock-pot. Cover and let cook on low for 6-8 hours.

hi – I’d like to use this exact recipe for soup not stew. How much broth should I use or should I add some water?
I think that for soup, an extra cup or two of chicken broth would work.
