Crispy Baked Greek Green Bean Fries

Crispy and easy green bean fries seasoned with Greek seasoning. The Greek seasoning goes perfectly with these green beans, the flavor is not too overwhelming but makes them have a delicious taste. No oil is needed to make this crispy appetizer, they are baked in the oven until crispy. These green bean fries taste great served with a side of ranch dressing. Make these green bean fries the next time you want to add an appetizer to your meal. But want it a little healthier. 

The breading for these green beans is made by combining egg and milk together in one bowl. Flour and Greek seasoning in another bowl, and breadcrumbs in the last bowl. First dip the green beans in the egg mixture, then the flour, back into egg, and then the breadcrumbs. Place the green beans in a single layer on a large greased baking sheet. Bake until crispy.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon Greek seasoning
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400 F. In a shallow dish, whisk together egg and milk. In another shallow dish, combine flour and Greek seasoning. Place breadcrumbs in another shallow dish.
  • Dip each green bean in the egg mixture, roll in the flour mixture, dip back into the egg mixture, fully coat in the breadcrumbs. Place onto a large greased baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
