Baked Cajun Breaded Chicken

Crispy breaded chicken that is so quick and easy to make. The chicken is breaded with breadcrumbs and Cajun seasoning, then it is baked until crispy. You only need chicken, an egg, milk, breadcrumbs, and some Cajun seasoning to make this simple chicken. To make the breading, egg and milk are whisked together in a shallow dish, and the breadcrumbs and seasoning are combined in another dish. Dip each chicken fully into the egg mixture, then coat in the breadcrumbs. Place onto a large greased baking sheet. Bake until no longer pink in the center, and the breading is crispy.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound chicken
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. Whisk egg and milk together in a shallow dish. Combine breadcrumbs and Cajun seasoning in another dish.
  • Dip each chicken in the egg mixture, fully coat in the breadcrumbs. Place onto a large greased baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
