Creamy and cheesy pasta shells with minced garlic. Two types of cheeses are used in this pasta to create a delicious side dish. The cheesy garlic sauce is made with both mozzarella cheese and grated parmesan cheese. You can have this dish ready in less than 30 minutes for any easy side dish. This easy and cheesy pasta side dish goes great with any meal, like chicken or pork chops.
For this dish, I used small shell pasta but any other small shaped pasta will work as well. The garlic cheese sauce is started by cooking minced garlic in melted butter. Flour is whisked into the butter until it is browned. Pour in milk, both mozzarella and parmesan cheeses, salt and garlic powder. Continue to whisk the sauce over medium heat until both of the cheeses have melted and the sauce has thickened. Mix the cooked pasta with the sauce and serve.
