Creamy Cheesy Garlic Shells

Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz. small shell pasta
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions
 

  • Cook pasta according to package directions, drain. In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add in minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  • Whisk in flour and cook for a minute to brown. Add in milk, shredded mozzarella cheese, grated parmesan cheese, salt and garlic powder. Continue to whisk constantly over medium heat until both of the cheeses have melted and the sauce has thickened. Mix sauce with cooked pasta.
